The Industrial VDSL2 Bridge is the latest addition to the well-established VDSL Extender family from Black Box. Like the VDSL2 Extenders (MEG201AE-R2) the new VDSL2 Bridge provides high speed transmissions using the telephone wires that are already installed within the facility. The bridge transmits data at 100 Mbps as well as broadband Multimedia services to all stations required. To configure for either local Central Office (CO) or remote customer premise equipment (CPE) operation, just flip a DIP-switch.
Ready for industrial applications
The Industrial VDSL2 Bridge is designed especially for industrial applications with a rugged metal IP30 chassis supporting Din-rail mount installations and an extended temperature range from -20° up to +70° Celsius. Integrated surge and overload current protection ensure a long life cycle. Redundant power and direct DC inputs from 12 to 48VDC complete the intelligent design.
Integrated Ethernet Switch
The VDSL2 Bridge is equipped with four 10/100Mbps Ethernet ports that provide an economical solution for your industrial requirements like factories, MRTs, train stations, ticketing machines, parking systems and other point-to-point applications.
Comprehensive feature set
The VDSL2 Bridge has a wide range of features including easy configuration, alarm relay contacts, anti-noise interleave delay, reverse polarity protection and the support of large packet sizes up to 1536 bytes.
Link aggregation
The Industrial VDSL2 Bridge works perfectly together with the VDSL2 Switch (MEG821AE). MEG821AE is a fully enabled Layer II switch that provides 8-ports to aggregate multiple VDSL2 links at a central point.
